Look I don't come here much but it seems I am missing something. Posts are vanishing and threads are being cut up and erased. Is anyone going to explain what is going on?

It's always nice to see the open minded, inclusive, ocean expansive, brotherly, embracing attitude of RE. I guess when your journey is so tentative you need to censor the bloggers you reveal the real length and breadth of the instutution and the administration itself!!!

Give us a shout again when you need your ass bailed out of another world war there CO.
PS...you'll notice by the name I am of Scottish heritage too....but my Great, Great Grandfather elected to get off the rock and go expand his mind....unlike you he wasn't afraid to look at new things and give them a try.

Well Chillin'.....last time I looked a knob was indeed usefull for a couple of things. However, being a 30 something in this day and age of virtual life requires you to hide behind the LCD monitor, with your indescript screen name, no contact information and shoot darts out to prove your worthiness. I guess since your the new age '30 something' still having mommy pay your cell phone bill and do your laundry on the weekend, that's about as big a balls as you're going to get there Spanky.

Tell me and the rest of the people in NA what it is we have to say to get you narrowminded threatened Europeans to kick us the hell off of your site so we don't have to deal with your metrasexual 'gosh RE has missed you over the past weeks...can we entice you to come back and post (read - narrowmindedly post EXACTLY what our fiefdom has designated you to follow as dutiful subjects or we'll throw a temper tantrum and eliminate the post) as half of the other world has quit us too'???

FYI, I donated 5 units ($4000) worth of product to the guys who wrote into the HVAC Talk site and won them which increased the initial and long term membership and consequential posts. The other sites do a helluva lot in the way of promoting and bettering the industry....not just their site. Instead of poking a freaking stick in our eyes for the 3rd time....why don't you try to accept the diversity in people and their posts instead of herding them like cattle...in case you haven't noticed....we ain't loyal subjects anymore bud....we are over here for a reason.

Your choice there CO....ban us, collaborate with us or we can cut right to the chase and put RE as spam and never have to deal with you again.....your choice....

Wow, worth searching for! yikes!
No one asked for my opinion but I feel compelled to give it.
Why would anyone not welcome advertising for any site that may help others learn irregardles of what part of the world it is from or what they are talking about. (Don't get the fear?)
I have to be honest, I have encountered some real asses here,(Nova), as well as some realy good people.
Although I feel this despute is none of my buisness, I will tell you that Doug is a stand-up guy that has put an emmense amount of time and effort into helping others and deserves the respect of others on this or any other site.
Come on guys, are we adults here or what.
We all have alot to offer as well as last time I checked we all screw with nature for a living and nature is the same on both sides of the pond!

Another P.O.'d Canuk.

Heres a thought, since it all started out as a conflict of interest, How about RE Web Ram and Mods works with D-H offering loyal active members a chance to win a set of DRSA's right here on RE. The sight could use some spicing up a little bit, and what a better way to do it, then offering all the members here at RE that work hard in helping each other out in technical service advice each and everyday.

I think this would be a great idea and many members here can and will apreciate something like this.

Of course this is just an Idea.

A couple of things need pointing out here.

1) you don't come onto anyone's site with the sole purpose of promoting your own. Do your own hard work.
2) You certainly don't come here, pretend to be holding an olive branch and at the same time, take pot shots and the members and mods.
3) If you had wanted to carry out a campaign then you should ask the people who run it first, not chance your arm by throwing posts in then complaining when your little plan gets found out.
4) Act like a CEO and contact the relevant personnel on the site rather than openly posting drivel. If that's the way you conduct your business then we await your demise.

It only takes a couple of minutes to find out who runs this site and to make direct contact. If you canny be bothered to do that, then I canny be bothered to react to your childish posting.
