    Mechanical Seals ?



    Hi

    I just wondered if anyone new the materials used for the sealing faces of the mechanical seals mounted on the compressor drive shafts ?

    I doubt they are all the same compound but some that I have had made in the past have been know to be made of a carbon filled ptfe type material
