    Banning spammers on the first offense



    I think you should start banning spammers on the first post on the IP level. Just a thought.

    its not possible. At the ISP level it can also effect a load of other posters.

    I will be upgrading the site in the next month or so to try and stop them.

    at the moment the mods are doing a great job.

    Not the ISP level, the IP level, should be pluasible, but good to hear that there will be up grades.

    Where there is a spammer I'll be waiting with the feared 75mm Howizter of spam death!

    Even at the IP level this could affect a whole block of streets maybe a town in some cases.

    Ditto about Webram praising the reporters.

    Not every ISP gives their customers a static IP address. Also some of the ISPs use proxies to cut costs.
    Not to mention that spammers can use a proxy.
