Do you beleive in data of split units?

Do you believe in technical specification of split units.
I dont understand why split which is twice smaller with lower air flow is more efficiently than my standard chiller unit.
Of coure split works it cool or it warm.

depends on the technology they are using, with a chiller you must factor in pumps, thermal transfers, Pipe gains, and such. Where as with a DX split you have no pump and less line losses.

    www.eurovent-certification.com

If you do not belief check which equipment has been independantly tested.
Eurovent randomly check units & compare test performance data with manufactures technical data.

You can always spot an honest manufacturer on the listings because every unit in the range is Eurovent certified.
The manufacturers who have a vast range of units for sale but only a few which have passed Eurovent certification testing ? Buyer beware !

Some major manufacturers make big claims. But check out with Eurovent for confirmation.

He's comparing a chiller to a Dx system, keep this in mind.

You are right. We can't compare two different units with different conditions.
Split unit get higher suction pressure, get better COP.
