Exclamation C&G Ammonia Safe Handling 2078

    Can someone advise me.
A certain Training Establishment up in Doncaster.
Is advising Students past and present that!

City and Guilds, Safe Handling of Ammonia 2078.

    IS RENEWABLE EVERY 3 YEARS!

Is this a scam or fact?

I have been on the City and Guilds and ACRIB Websites.
And can not find anything to say that it is?

    WHAT DOES EVERYONE RECKON??

    Hi Grizzly.

I have got my 2078 done 8 years ago and no-ones told me about renewing it.

The only one i had to renew was the care gas one which lasted 3 years.

all run out in a couple of years anyway,so you might get the new quali`s before anybodies noticed.
If it ain't broke, it doesn't have enough features yet.

A City & Guilds qualification is for life.

A CITB qualification is for 3 years.

Go figure. Seems to be all about money to me.

Maybe Ian (Pooh) has a comment to add.

Could not of put it better myself Frank.
But you can't make money out of that can you.

So if a TRAINING ESTABLISHMENT is prepared to lie.

What does that say about their ethics!

I have the 2078 and it ran out last June, i had to pay around £40 to renew it.
It is just a money making scam

There are three different training centres in Doncaster, and I am sure that you are not trying to tar us all with the same brush.

So it would be only proper to narrow the field down - could it be a company that had an ammonia plant built especially for training engineers?

Maybe a company that also makes recovery machines?
