Question on EER & Low Capacity Scrolls
Hello,
Just two quick questions for you experienced folks;
For a high temp compressor the EER is rated at a standard evap/cond temperature of 45F/???
I found the medium temps to be rated at 20/120F....
Another question: are lower capacity scroll compressors (1/3HP) generally less efficient (both isentropic & EER) than their more powerful siblings? I found the EER of a 1/3HP scroll to be 6.4, whereas the 1HP was closer to 10. Is this normal?
Thanks for your help
Patrick
