    Component Analysis For R134a Domestic Refrgerator

    Hello everyone,
    I am an under graduate Mechanical Engineering student, and right now working in a project, for which its required that i will have to assemble all the components of the refrigerator R134a based, since i am very much new to this field, i dont have much practical experience, i need your help in component analysis and component matching. It would be very helpful for me if u can tell me various sites and e-books related to it.In short How to start the assembling of a refrigerator?..Thanks for your Valuable time.

    Thanks a lot for inputs Taz..I am aware of the basics, i just need help in the balancing of the system, that is what type of compressor is suited to what what type condensing unit, dimension of the capillary tube, in short I have to assemble the refrigerator and hence need to have knowledge about balancing of the system.

    You have plenty of tools for your needs there, and by studying every tool you should learn more about selection and balancing of refrigeration circuit components.

    Now Io Want To Calculate The Heat Load In Freezer

    If I Put 6 Liters Water In Freezer How Many Btu Required To Make It Ice
    Thats My Question
    Could The Danfoss Site Help Me Regarding This Problem
    Can
    Ans Me Fast

    For your calculation you need more information.
    What is entering temperature of water?
    What is desired temperature of Ice.
    What is desired time for ice production.
    What is heat gain in freezer from surrounding.
    What is heat gain in freezer from fan motor and lighting.
    What is Ice form
    What is air circulation heat gain from opening freezer

    HI NIKE GOOOD AFTER OON

    THANKS FOR INTREST

    What is entering temperature of water?
    Ans= 20c

    What is desired temperature of Ice.
    Ans= -18c

    What is desired time for ice production.

    Ans =24/hr

    What is heat gain in freezer from surrounding.
    ans= i can't understand it explain it details (ambiant temp)(43c)

    What is heat gain in freezer from fan motor and lighting.
    ans=there is no fan and light in freezer (dircet coolrefrigerator)

    What is Ice form
    Ans= i can't understand it explain it in details

    What is air circulation heat gain from opening freezer
    Ans= i can't understand it explain it in details

    Thanks and best regards

    That is calculation of heat ingress from surrounding in freezer at designed ambient and freezer temperature.
    Because the freezer is in surrounding that is at higher temperature than his internal temperature and because your insulation is not perfect you must add that heat to total cooling load.
    That mean that you need to calculate how much heat is coming from surrounding thru freezer insulation panels at your operating temperature and highest ambient temperature.
    What is heat gain in freezer from fan motor and lighting.
    ans=there is no fan and light in freezer (dircet coolrefrigerator)
    Than you maybe have defrost heater. Again, if any part inside generate heat ,you need to add that to calculation.

    What is Ice form
    Ans= i can't understand it explain it in details
    If you are going to freeze one ice cube, or 100 small cubes, there is no same time for freezing them, because ice is heat insulator, and core of one big Ice cube will freeze slower than core of small cube. Amount of heat load is same for both but time for freezing is not the same.

    What is air circulation heat gain from opening freezer
    Ans= i can't understand it explain it in details
    When you open door of freezer, you allowing some amount of hot air to enter in freezer. That is heat load which evaporator need to extract. Therefore, in your calculation, you need to add that to total load at evaporator.

    Do you have any tutor (teacher, older engineer) in your company?
    I ask this, because these questions you should ask him, and he should be able to explain them to you in much easier way and at concrete examples.

    Unless, he is deaf, blind, dumb and speaks Hungarian language.

    Exclamation Re: Component Analysis For R134a Domestic Refrgerator

    Dear Jahangir, my impression is that your knowledge about physics and other disciplines needed in this industry is not suitable for tasks you are challenged with.
    It is obvious that you don't have basic knowledge how to convert one unit system to other unit system and that is something what any engineer need to know when you wake him in middle of night.
    Today, with help of internet, there is no excuse to some engineer that he could not convert any unit in other unit, no matter of his expertize.
    It is just matter of basic engineer knowledge as it is calculation as 2+2=4.
    Don't be dejected by this taught, but I think that you need serious tutoring.
