zanussi zx 99 5si fridge freezer

hi,have a zanussi zx 99 5si fridge freezer,only 3 years old and fridge compartment at top is not cold,the freezer is well cold,the fridge part does,nt have a grid at the back,only ducts and a flap at the top,i,ve made sure the flap opens but no cold air comes through it,any ideas?thanks for any help.

Try fully defrosting your freezer, the chances are the fan inside is jammed with ice. I had a similar problem with a samsung and this cured the fault. Dont overstock your freezer.

For "fully defrost" read turn unit off and leave for 48hrs with doors open.

Large lumps of ice which have built up can take a long time to completely defrost.

Don't be tempted to use a hairdrier which can damage and distort plastic.

hi,thanks for the help,i defrosted the freezer and everything was fine for two weeks and then the fridge started to be less cold again,another defrost got it working again,but what should i check next,anyone know where the auto-defrost thermal cutout or fuse is?thanks.

need to replace the defrost timer on the back of this unit and it should cure the problem
