hi there just a quick question for you s. how far can u put indoor unit from bs box on 3 pipe vrv daikin .and how close can u put ref nets cheers steve

Hi ,You can read the instruction for a precision work but as far as i know there is limitation for maximum lengh of pipe not for a minimum.Remember a golden rule :In order your VRV system to perform better the shorte the pipe run the better the performance.

There is no minimum or maximum distance an indoor unit can be from a BS Box. The maximum limit is on the pipe work and the Refnet joints. As you pipe from the outdoor unit, you will come to the 1st Refnet joint, the basic rule is that all indoor units must be within 40m from the 1st Refnet joints. BS Boxes can be mounted any where within the 40m distance.

However in some applications such as hotel rooms, bedrooms, boardrooms and other quite areas, you should mount the BS Boxes as far away as possible or outside the area to avoid operation noise problems later.
