    Direct Energy Consumption Question

Hi, I need to complete a questionaire on Refrigeration Cases about Direct Energy Consumption and one question refers to SEDT in watts.

Can anyone enlighten me as to what SEDT stands for?

    Thanks

I don't have an answer, but I have a strong opinion about acronyms. They are an IDTGC, and a wonderful avenue toward DAIU.

That would be in human speak: Incredible deterrent toward good communication, and a wonderful avenue for deception and ignorant usage.

Here is the key part. I made those up knowing what they meant, and by the time I got to the second one, I forgot what I had in mind... so I bluffed. One could say it says a lot about my attention span, but one could also offer an argument that acronyms are convenient tools we use to avoid meaningful discussion.

To your point, V8dve, I would think we should pay attention to the only words available: Direct Energy Consumption.

I would assume that means fans, heaters and lights... disregarding refrigeration energy requirements.
