    Daikin Inverter R22



    Hello Guys,

    I need to fix a 4 year old Daikin Inverter (Indoor) Model# FTKD50BVMA I'm getting U4 Error Code. What could this be. Thanks!!!

    Welcome to the forum air4life.
    Not equipment I normally work on. So maybe some of the other guys can elaborate further.
    The info I have says that U4 is a communication fault between the indoor and outdoor units.

    The "normal" fault when it flashes U4 is that someone turned the power off to either the outdoor unit or another indoor unit on the same system.

    Otherwise you are looking at communication wires or PCBs.
