    watercooled condenser P/D

Happy Holidays to everyone,I have a question about watercooled condensers on a closed loop system.Whats a good pressure differential across the inlet and outlet? Current numbers are 60 psi inlet/54 psi outlet @66 f. Is there a standard ? Head pressure ok .

2 pass or 4 pass? what mfg? the PD will be affected by the flow rate. You should be able to get the design criteria from the manufacturer

to us here, not much on standard but reasonable practices.

currently, i'm using the yardstick of 1barG. why?

imagine ... brand new s&t condenser has this value but if aging comes into place & water treatment is not relaible ....

next, i'll also consider the circulating pump's capacity. higher head higher running $.

most cases here, i'll keep the pump head below 5barG. probably 2HP or so.
