daikin vrv3 vrs vrv2
just like to say hi to all. this is my first post and would like to hear your thoughts on vrv3 heat recovery vrs vrv 2 heat recovery .ive being installing vrv2 for the last 2 years and found them to be very good why change a good thing . installed a few vrv 3 and dont no if any better than 2 cheers

The main difference between HR VRV 2 and VRV 3 is that the switching time between cooling and heating changeover has been greatly reduced.

VRV III can still provide heating while carrying out a defrost. Single module units - REYQ**P - have two seperate coils and compressors, so while it uses one comp to defrost one coil the other comp is still able to provide heat to indoors, once the first coil has completed its defrost the operation is reversed to defrost the other coil. On multi module systems - REMQ**P - one mode defrosts while the other one or two modules supply heat to indoors, again the modules swap once the defrost is completed.
