ammonia evaporators
I was wondering if someone can help me with this , application flooded coil w surge drum , example for blast freezr application , well say nh3, can someone give me a rough draft operating conditions? under normal conditions , pressures and temps, both high temp box, and satisfied box:
a) upstream of hp float
b)just down stream of hp float
c)liquid leg to evap inlet
d)outlet evap
the pressures expected to see in psig,, if anyone can answer
the same for overfead evap DX ( liquid recirculation) w hand expansion valve, call this medium temp application, also is hand expansion valve set up for td or just to regulate system volume??I think my main question in both instances is "where exactly is the low pressure drop taking place"
I know i am asking alot , but this will really help enlighten me!! And I do appreciate any input!! thank you
simple terms are best
