    Hi Everybody,
Need Some Help------have A Situation With A 15mx10mx6m Cold Room At -20 C Ice Build Up In Vent Pipes Below Floor, Starting To Crack And Raise Floor, unable To Switch Off,how Do We Remove Ice As Quickly As Possible? Have Commenced Blowing Hot Air Into Ventpipes----would Hotwater Be Quicker?--maybe High Pressure Hotwater?
    Coldroom Cosists Of Insulated Panels.
    Any Suggestions Would Be Appreciated

Are vent pipes blocked to iced condensation water?
Is this a system with free ventilation tubes under the floor?
If so, the isolating air was replaced with water and this water now acts as a conductor instead of an isolator

I should suggest to use a high pressure sewer like the one attached in the picture (we call it a sewer rat)
to make sure all tubes are clear and then dry them with air afterwards.

But,... you only solved the result but not the cause. So, if the tubes are cleaned, your problem isn't solved completely.

    boy oh boy,
has hy got work to do.
cleaning the vent-pipes, see if the air used to ventilate has a low moisture volume, maybe install some dryers before the air gos back in.
