    Post Refrigeration oils



    Hello to you all,

    I was wondering if anyone could explain or point me to some information on Refrigeration oils, and why different types are used for different gases.

    Any help to a new visitor would be of help!!!

    The oil has to be miscible with the refrigerant in order to return oil back to the compressor. Some refrigerant oils are not miscible with the HFC's.
