Hope it will be a good discussion for our members.

    I need the following details.

    Production : Soap Plant.

    One more Query:

How do we calculate the heat dissipation of a machine/Motor?

For ex.If a compressor motor having 55 KW what is the heat dissipation for that motor in KW or Kcal.

    Re: Calcualting Room Pressure

An air compressor or a refrigeration compressor?

    If a refrigeration compressor:
    Open or hermetic or semi-hermetic?
    Working temperatures?
    Refrigerant?

May I ask you 2 questions?
Why you need the dissipation of a compressor?
And why can this be a good discussion? I only see a question
It's better to keep your mouth shut and give the impression that you're stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.

    Re: Calcualting Room Pressure

Your doc highlights "Room Pressure" - there is no way that anyone can answer that question because there are no facts to base any calculations on.

You also have not given any details of the equipment regarding 'heat dissipated'.

How do you expect us to help you?

    Re: Calcualting Room Pressure

sounds like you are required to fill in a 'room data sheet'

The pressure would be for you to indicate for someone the level of pressurization or perhaps depressurization that is required to be maintained in this rooms.

A room could be pressurized with clean air to keep dirt out. With clean rooms for example you want the clean space highly pressurized, with more pressure than the airlock which would connect it to the 'dirty area'. The air lock would in turn have more pressure than the dirty area. Air would always flow from clean areas to the dirty areas.

The equipment heat would require you to survey how much heat is generated by the various equipment in the rooms.

Once that data sheet was filled in perhaps someone would be designing the AC, based on your info. Sounds like a form you are to give to the designer

    Re: Calcualting Room Pressure

references such as AHSRAE's hanbdbook of fundamentals would give yuou a guide on hw much heat is rejected by motors etc.
