    Carrier Pro Dialog Plus help

Hi have just fitted a new pcb to a carrier 30GG 045-911E chiller after it blew but on firing the system back up the word COnF appears in the display for the pro dialog plus controller. In the manual it says that the basic board needs configuring and that this can only be carried out by a carrier service engineer.
Just wondering if anyone knows how to do this as don't really want to spend more money on getting carrier out as the pcb cost a small fourtune.
    Thanks for any help

Unfortunally you can't do it yourself, you need a laptop with the right software to do it! So getting Carrier out is the only option!

The conf means the unit has lost or has no configuration. The unit board reverts to this mode when it is new or the eeproms are removed or the backup battery has failed. The best thing would be to get Carrier out or to save on cost's (they never really want to spend anymore money do they) you could take the board to carrier & get them to do it at their base you will need the 88CS code these should be located just underneath the main board & should have a code something like 88CS3000VA300010EE. There are 2 lines of code TAKE BOTH OF THEM DOWN EXACTLY. They should be able to do this for you as it only takes a 24V power supply to the board to enable reconfiguration.
Why did you need to replace the board in the first place? Just wondering only you don't want to have to buy another.
