    Question heatpump blowermotor



    My blowermotor on 2.5 ton Trane heatpump runs all the time and the temp. is around 30 deg. The thermostat is set at 68 deg and the fanswith is on auto. If you knock the thermostat down to 65 it
    will eventually cut off for a few mins then it will come on for a few
    seconds then off again and so on. The compressor isnt running at time. Please advise Thanks

    Sounds like the low limit fan stat needs replacing
