Pentane or Propane?
Two schools of thought. Pentane works better in -150 units and doesn't add any volume to the system charge, But I keep hearing that propane works just as well. The manufactures all have there opinions. But the best sweeper I have come across yet is the old Pentane. Agree?

Re: Pentane or Propane?
I've only been in the ULT field for 8 years. But I've been able to cure and prevent every oil logged unit with R290 propane. The only exceptions have been units were had engineering problems. Some manufacturers have switched to R404A/R508B mix. When oil logging occurs in these units, I replace R404A with propane.
