IBT heat load
 Can anyone help me to calculate the total heat load / hour of an ice bank tank working on direct feed of ammonia. Total length of ammonia coil is 1800 m & dia is 32 mm. Temp. inside tube i.e. ammonia is around -7 deg C and outside temp i.e. water is around 0 deg C. Chilled water pumps are 2 nos. of capacity 80,000 LPH. :)

Re: IBT heat load
Hi MAKU,
What do you really to know? The heat transfer capacity from the water to the coil OR the cooling needs of the "cold water consumers" (services). It's a different thing, special if the purpose of the ice bank is accumulate ice for the peak heat load hours.
