Hi all,
I am looking for the formula to calculate the proper condensing unit for 75,000 BTU and the cooling coil for 65,000 BTU? Is there a simple way for it?
Thank you.

Anyone? :)
What is the application temps, and ambient temps, single compressors or multi compressors. More information would get a few responses.
I would use this formula
a = duty
b = size of condensing unit at working conditions
a=b
normally works for me.
Damn that is the metric version
Try this for imperial
b=a
INFO REQUD :
SST :
DST :
REFRIGERANT TO BE USED:
REFRIGERATION LOAD :
FIRST SELECT A COMPRESSOR .........
THEN RAISE THE SUCTION SAT TEMP BY ABOUT 7 TO 10 DEG C .....
FIND OUT THE HEAT REJECTED AT THE CONDITION & THAT WILL BE THE CONDENSER HEAT REJECTION
GIVE THE CONDITIONS & WILL WORK OUT A COD UNIT FOR YOU
FOR ANY HELP FURTHER SEND ME A PM : ddk0123@gmail.com
MF, I think you made a fault. It's not b=a for metric but b= c...or was it c=b...mmm...too long i used this formula
Peter
Always will to accept alternative theories, especially when I am wrong!, so I will have to spend weeks re-writing all my software programs, to ensure that these complex calculations are correct and up to date.
