Air Handling Unit(AHU) Efficiency

We use an Air Handling Unit(AHU) to supply heating & cooling to our office. The current temperature/humidity setting of the unit is 22degrees/50%RH.

I would like to increase the temperature to 27/28 degrees with reduction of chilled water usage in mind which would result in reduction of costs.

What I am trying to find out is: If the Temperature is increased to 27/28 degrees, will the AHU be running efficiently trying to maintain the relative humidity at 50%RH or will power usage be increased for this setting. (For this example take the outside temperature to be at 25 degrees)

Any advice on this would be much appreciated.

What method of the humidification do you use?

a good ddc engineer is what you need, check if you are controlling off the return air or local stat watch out for solar gain on the florrs!!! check if your entalpy control,mixing box etc.. are all in order...if you are increasing setpoint i would raise chilled water set point and look to decreasing fan when dehum required and dew point for 26/27 degrees

With an outdoor temperature of 25 and an indoor target temperature of 27/28 you don't need chilled water cooling, you need heating! :D

Temperature and humidity are in relationship higher the temperature the lower the humidity.
