Therefore say 4.8 x 40 = 192hrs divided by 8hrs = 24 days entitlement.
Whereas 4.8 x 39 = 187.2 divided by 7.8 hrs = 24 days entitlement.
Note item 2 Gordon is giving us more holiday!
5.6 x 40 = 224 divided by 8hrs = 28 days entitlement
5.6 x 39 = 218 divided by 7.8 = 28 days entitlement
note these are exclusive of Bank Holidays!!!!!

May I just urge caution before taking your employer to task.
But I know some of my fellow employees within our huge multi-national.
Do not get the above calculated hrs?
I assume no-one has raised the question of the new Government figures...YET!
