Impressive Josip.
What were your nerves like when you first turned in on?
Just like stage fright!
Irrespective, I am always nervous when switching anything on for the first time.

Hi Josip
I would be interested in seeing a photo of the beast.
I am like Grizzly always a bit nervous before the first start.

Hi Josip.
definitely a massive system, pics would be good. What voltage motor was starting the beast.
I bet the first live start was an anxious moment, it is always for me.

Squirrel cage, 4 poles, 13200 V and weight about 24700 kg Hyundai Mfg.
It is normal to be anxious ... regardless of all checks ... Murphy is always around

Re: The biggest one in my career
Hi Josip
I am impressed, and yes Murphy haunts me on occasions as well.
I can only imagine the motor drive, a large steel box with a shaft and coupling out one end, with the national grid attached. I have seen them at pulp mills and kept walking. Howden still do the best screw in my opinion. post some pics please.
Re: The biggest one in my career
Hi guysI also just started up 2x WRV 204 Howden screws and had a lot of problems with the first package. But it's sorted now, not as huge as this one of Josip but always an anxious moment.Josip in what kind of industry did you install that beast?

5,093 Horse Power. Some serious torque there. Hope it starts and runs without any significant problems.
Thanks for sharing.
