The first time heard about this comp brand and model
Hi avico.. I didn't know either until I met it. it old model 1995 y. manufactured.
Scruw,
From what I see it's an air compressor, is that correct.
If it's refrigeration maybe post a picture, as it might be something else rebadged.
With 321 numbers in it, it sound big capacity like a Howden WRV321.

Tnx RANGER.

Unfortunately, im have not a photo now. May be a little later.

Hi, scruw :)
welcome to the RE forums ...
each compressor is a gas compressor ... but seems that GHH-RAND does not make refrigeration compressors, but for transportation or some other duty ... as far as I know ... but ... can you tell us which refrigerant is inside of unit.
Best regards, Josip :)
Hi Josip.
Tnx for your remark.
Yes indeed, every screw compressor is gas compressor. But I was keeping in mind to the gas butane, not ammonia or any *****. (Like gas in field gathering on oil production). This compressor be installed at the power station. RAND more dont manufactured these compressors and for this reason it is a rarity.
Best regards.
I did inspections on 2 off SKK255G (1970) few times in Germany. We always used the Howden clearances for these compressors, they are running on nh3. Axial play: 255-0.125mm max and 321-0.35mm max.
Hi Gerben.
Thank You for Your help..
Best Regards
