one of my compound compressors keeps shutting down on intermidate pressure over range. This is only occuring when there is no load and the compressor unloads fully. I have confirmed that the pressure transducer is calibrated.
I'm at a lost here....anyone have any ideas?

So what pressure does interstage get up to?
are both the first stage & second stage fully unloaded?
Is there anything else feeding into interstage line like an economiser or side load?
Do you know what controls interstage pressure so high side loads?
can you change it's set point to see what happens?
Do you have another compressor which operates correctly
