Installing REYQ16M81B With FXFQ- ( 5,6.3,8)- M7V1B total of 5 cassettes with 5 BS100 boxes
Second-hand unit fitted in charity office history not known came with 10 bs boxex and cassettes
All indoor units are on same phase and out door L1L2L3 is clock wise
It came on with one cassette not working bs f2 cable was out after connecting unit showing H4 and
H2P FLASHING H3P ON
Can any body help and Is there any way to reset the unit to factory
did you drive the levs open via the outdoor unit-

sorry myfirst daikin and it is vrv
the manule i got from daikin saye u4 no power to out / in door unit inc phase interruption

u4 comms error between indoor - outdoor or indoor -bs unit- you mentioned
but im sure if you powered it up 1st time you need to perform the wiring check to remedy this
first power it all down power up the indoors ,bc boxes and then the outdoor
go in setting mode 1 and select operation via ind- led should be a solid yellow light
prey that whe it was decomissioned that the valves were driven open for degassing and you pressure tested,vacced and charged prior to powering up
you can check at the outdoor how many bc boxes and how many indoors it can see
dont know decommissioning but it was pressure tested vaced for 24 hours and charged to factory charge
have you measured the piperun, on the back panel of the condenser there should be a chart for calculating the additional charge- based on length of run
haw do i check that i a sad my first vrv sorry i have not a clue

outdoor to 1st bs bs to 1st cass bc1 to bc 2 bc2 to 2nd cass bc2-bc3 bc3 to cass
also pipesizes are needed as you need the toatl length of liquid line for example in 1/2,3/8.1/4 total suction line 1 3/8 if any , 1 1/8 , 7/8,3/4
did you get daikin to do the pipe size calc as after the 2nd refnet youll prob drop down a pipe size, also all refnets horizontal, and pipework musnt be clamped too tight, hydrazorbs are a no no they recommend running pipe on tray and securing with cable ties

could be worse- my first vrv install was in belfast a 2 pipe on 7 cassettes and a 3 pipe on 5 cassettes, sparkie wired radial supplies to each indoor from the basement- must have used about 3 miles of cable- told him to ring each floor, didnt have daikin produce pipe sizing layout drawing, condensers on 5th fl roof , had leaks in the riser as my brazing wasnt the best, did it with an apprentice, and did it in 11 days, but did 230 hrs - you never forget your 1st vrv install,read the manuals and mither daikin technical - think vrv2 has auto charge function on it so you should be ok

PressPress and hold the Reset button on the outdoor PCB for more than 5 seconds forces the system to re_handshake connected indoor units/bs boxes
not that one master reset so it is factory default
PressPress and hold the Mode button for 10 seconds. You will need to carry out the Test function after this to clear the UC error
