Daewoo Fridge freezer is not working properly

I would be grateful with any advice regarding this.

Our Daewoo Fridge freezer ( Model FRS-2031 IAL) has not been working properly for few weeks.

It started as follows: the Ice dispenser stopped dispensing ice. The ice is made in the container but when you put the cup in the place and choose ice or crushed ice, water will come instead. This is on and off thing, if I keep changing the selection from water to ice to crushed ice, it would start dispensing ice but again that will stop again. The control panel then stopped responding to pressing any button. I switched the power off, and that sorted this non response but after a while ( hours) this problem starts again. More recently, we noticed that both the freezer and the refrigerator are not cooling enough even after increasing the setting to high.

Any suggestions? Shall I call an engineer before trying anything?
