ups load
Hi guys
I need to find the heat output for a UPS battery pack, on the name plate it only states:
3ph + N
Input 44.6Amps
Output 21.7Amps
Can i assume that the difference in current is the the heat load when converted to watts ie: IxE =P
Would appreciate your advice guys
Thanks in advance
Danny

Re: ups load
Best to get the manufacturer's name and google for that plus Btus/hr or Watts. Thing with UPS's is that they are normally on trickle load, ready to supply the full load of 21.7A in your case.
As a similar: take a look at "APS SMART UPS 2200" (heat 275btu/hr), and some of their other units, in case that helps.
