Dear Friends,
I have a question. Do you have any document that explains refrigeration compressor compression ratio at air-conditioning system and refrigeration systems ?
Thanks.

Compression ratio = Discharge pressure / Suction pressure. (Absolute pressures should be used).
The smaller the ratio is, the more efficient the pumping is.
If the ratio is high, less refrigerant mass is pumped over a given time especially in piston compressors, therefore more energy is consumed over time by the compressor motor or drive to achieve the same refrigerating effect as opposed to a low compression ratio.
Lower compression ratio = more pumping.
Higher compression ratio = less pumping.
No documents but hope this helps.
Hi, A.Mortezania :)
it is archived a lot of answered questions here on RE forums ...
but you need to do searching by yourself ...
sometimes much better if you want to learn something .... believe me;)
RE archive is like ... Treasure chest ... https://www.amazon.com/Century-Novel.../dp/B002POEQEK
check here,please..

also www is full of documents like this one ...
