Hi normally you have oil separator
You need a rectifier vessel with either an electric heater or the warm liquid line in a coil in the rectifier. Several liquid/ oil sampling points are taken from the evaporator ( these sampling points are towards the top of the liquid level in the evaporator) . The oil/ liquid sample is drained into the rectifier vessel , the heat from the liquid line or heater causes the liquid in the oil to evaporate and the vapour is vented back to the compressor suction. The warm oil drops to the bottom of the rectifier vessel and via a float valve is drained back into the compressor sump when required . The sampling points normally needle valves are adjusted to control how much oil/liquid is sampled from the different levels on the evaporator.
It is important a safety device is installed on the rectifier vessel such as a thermostat so if the heater fails and the liquid isn’t boiled off this prevents liquid refrigerant entering the compressor crankcase causing loss of oil pressure due to liquid/ oil dilution
