please help with Kenmore Upright Freezer

I am new to this forum. I apologize for any mistakes I make. I have a Kenmore Upright Freezer model # 252 OR 970. On this particular model there is a red temperature indicator light that blinks and beeps when there is a problem. I had very little in my freezer when the light starting to blink and beep. The freezer was set on #5. I pulled out the plug and waited a few days. I put the plug in again on Sat. at 12:20 p.m. and by Sunday at 11:00 a.m. the blinking and beeping started again. The freezer was very cold. Any suggestions on how to remedy this problem. Also, I can't seem to get the manual for the freezer. I tried your search but it said "no matches".
