software and apps

hi guys, been a while since I have been on here as I left refrigeration and got back into a factory based role as an electrical engineer. Been away for six years and decided I wanted to get back to it. Long story short my old company were on the look out for a new service engineer and I managed to get my old job back, starting in a week :-) Mainly convenience stores and small supermarkets etc but occasionally large cash and carry type places with large freezer rooms etc.
Technology has moved on so far since I left and I am wondering if there are any apps for windows phone/tablet that are useful? I can find plenty for iOS and android but I like my windoze stuff and don't really want to change. Any pointers would be much appreciated.
