outdoor unit fan run before compressor?

Hi
In cooling mode
I noticed in some mini split ac unit in the outdoor unit that fan and compressors not running in the same time but the fan starts then after 3 seconds the compressor run
and same when outdoor unit turn off
the compressor turn off then after 3 seconds the fan turn off
what are the advantage from such operation

It's to force air across the condenser to reduce the high side pressure so that the compressor starts against the minimum pressure which also reduces the start up amps

As said above it reduces start up stress on the compressor,
