Best value swimming pool heat pump

To you all. I have had a read through the heat pump section, can anyone recommend a good value heat pump, I and a bit shy of china ones. i have had a look at the competition RA range, any thoughts on these etc

If you want cheap then go with chinese like Alto or Duratech.

Competition are made in China but to a spec laid down by the Canadian company.

The best heat pump you can get is the Nirvana, made in Canada, best for the lower temperatures in the UK or Elecro import the Gulfstream, made in Florida, but more pricey than the Nirvana.

Thanks for reply, I did not know that compitition was made in china, been lead to believe that it was from canada.
I will now look into your recomendations.

I´d stay clear of Alto ones. If been working on a few of those recently, and they are a nightmare.

Heat Perfector are an excellent machine, well made and reasonably priced and will last for years to come. Made in America and have excellent service back up in the UK.
Competition are Ok, but are made in China.
Alto avoid at all costs.
Either that Calorex or Heatstar are good, but they are expensive.
