spam e mails

dear all - just informing you that my laptop got infected and something disabled my norton360 that was regularly updated- attacked my outlook express contacts and sent around 30 emails at 1am this morning to everyone on here that ive sent a manual/correspondance too.
so just warning you not to open any e mail from installguru@hotmail .com -if i send anyone a manual i'll use another email account or upload it on here

check ur antivirus/firewalls are upto date as i couldnt use system restore, had to run disc check,then wipe hard drive, reinstall windows then norton then update it and full system scan then i will have to moniter it to see if its fixed:confused:

i meant to say it sent 30 out at a time at 1am this morning to- mike holm, peter1,chemi,al,stufus,wilksey,ronaldo,tonto, plus me boss,his daughter,contracts manager- and when u open it up its for diet drops!!!- but it shows from different website addresses:D

unfortunatly she works at our prison/company- and she is a bit on the chubby side- but you cant tell her or she'll have you out on the dole as quick as you can say "oi chubby!" :o

u can use kaspersky resuce disk to remove any viruses
from dos
download it
then burn it to disk
boot the computer
and then perform full scan

its because im loyal- been there 10year- like part of the family- you get less for murder these days.
anyway- currently wiped c drive, reinstalled system recovery and slowly adding folders,norton back on and updated,scanned= all seems ok, now every folder is getting saved on external drive, and a dedicated back up too
changed my e mail password, and no emails have been sent to anyone since, so hopefully all ok

Hopefully as long as you can keep off them dodgy porn sites :rolleyes:

spent all weekend wiping c drive,reinstalling windows,norton, internet explorer,adding updates,system scans, backing up manuals- ive lost some so i will have to start begging on here for some- also lost office so all me spreadsheets with upto date asset lists- gone- did u get an email for diet drops- might be worth u trying some! haha
