Connect daikin wireless controller to a home router

Dear folk

I have got Daikin split system installed recently with wireless controller ,,,,I tried the link below but I couldn't connect the daikin controller to home wireless router Netgear NightHawk D8500 (WPS enabled) ?

I did connect my iphone to the daikin controller directly not via the home router
