no nut on the compressor stud either:D
At least they got it going?!
Took me ages with the mapp torch....
Least he didn't scorch the wire as well in the process :D
So not by the book maybe.
But let's be honest, this could have been done by myself.
If it was critical that the system got back up and running ASAP and I didn't have the right fitting, a bit of oversized pipe flattened down with pump pliers might have been the best option.
Then we might start talking about the quality of the brazing and lack of alignment, that is a completely different matter...
.
end of the day it isnt the neatest, but if it works and lasts then fine
no i didnt do it! :D
n2 purge on braze lol?
HEY GUYS
MY compressor makes a noise, it’s obviously not a good sign.
WHAT CAN I DO TO repair it,
fo i have to change it, or are there other alternatives.
All compressors makes noises whilst they are operating, if they don't make any noise when there is power to them that's when you have to start the trouble shooting...
Or, is there a different noise from this compressor?
Genuinely could have been One of mine..back a few years we used to do comp changes on vending chillers...5-10 p/day bash them out the workshop...no money in the job for fittings and n2 purging
