refrigerant tubes section
HI there,
I have red lots of capillary tubes posts, most of them are absolutely detailed.
As a matter of fact I am looking about something very practic.
Issue is:
In a system with a TXV I have a fixed lenght of tubes going from distributor to the coil.
I am in front of two choices when dealing with distributor and tubes.
All the working conditions are known, therefore evaporator capacity, too.
According to existing charts,
If I choose the thinner tube, it will be overloaded by 60%
If I choose the grater tube, its load would be around 50% of its total load.
What I would expect is that these values refer to a straight tube, not a curved one as in practice.
I am expecting an higher pressure drop than the one estimated.
Please, may I ask you if you have ever faced to this situation ?
Which size would you choose ?
Many thanks
