On what application is the valve ?
on what aplication is this SLIDE VALVE? what dose it do?
A slide valve is a method of loading and unloading a screw compressor. It simply covers more of the flutes of the screw and opens the delivery port a little more that is all.
If you visualize the slide moving back and forth under the rotors all it does is change the effective length of the rotor used for compressing vapor. At low capacity only a small percentage of the total rotor length is used, therefore less capacity.
