Faulty transformer and condensate pump on Daikin split
Hello everybody!
Came accross a faulty internal condensate pump on an old Daikin R22 cassette (A3 fault code) and changed it for a new one. System then came up with an E0 fault code (protection device) and having checked the outdoor unit found faulty 240 - 24v transformer for the control circuit / PCB.
I am assuming the transformer was holding off one of the magnetic relays on the PCB therefore the E0 fault and presume this was co-incidental with the faulty pump on the indoor unit?
Outdoor unit R60F7V1 R22
Kind Regards

Re: Faulty transformer and condensate pump on Daikin split
Hi, Never had a faulty transformer on a daikin, well not without power supply problems!,. I guess your two faults must have just been coincidence,. Never like having to change those lift pumps on a cassette ( i presume).

yes, its a cassette (thanks, have edited!)
Just wired into a socket at home and double checked, it's giving 17 volts (should be 24).
I think i'll be going back for another look on Monday...
