I work for a major tractor company in the midwest, we recently contracted a company by the name of Q-Corporation to provide some cascade refrigeration equipment, I am curious if anyone has ever had any experience with this organization? what was the result? We are having some difficulties getting the units down to temp amoung other issues

Regarding the problem of units not getting down to temperature. Obviously leaks play a huge part but with gases like 508b and 23 microleaks seem to play more of a role than with 404 etc.
It doesn't take much of a leak to bring the standing charge down to a level where performance is affected.
1. Check all access points that caps are tight. And that packing nuts on service valves are tight.
2. Check shut-off valves that the packing nuts are tight and caps on.
3. Check that on the TXV the cap on the adjuster screw is tight.
I have had call outs where the standing charge was low and after searching with an electronic leak detector everywhere and not finding a significant leak, I've tightened everything mentioned above, topped up the gas and they have been OK. Even after checking after several weeks/months they have not lost any more gas.

When Ransco packed its bags in Oxnard Califirnia roughly 7-8 years ago, some of the engineers there started Qcorp. Ransco was a manufacturer of large test chamber equipment. They would make test chambers for defense, automotive, etc. As far as I know they are talented people and their equipment should work.
I believe they have a service group - contact them if their equipment isn't working correctly they can probably help.
