Re: New Daikin VRV 4 service manual
no service manuals on extranet, outdoor installation manual will guide through auto charge, wiring check
Re: New Daikin VRV 4 service manual
I have manual, but only RUS.
Re: New Daikin VRV 4 service manual
10 point of test start - a unit stop.
U3 in this case - the unit is efficient, but function of automatic search of leak which joins in a mode 2-88 isn't included, and by default not activated.
Cheker won't help, there now new software and a new box for 400 euros.

Re: New Daikin VRV 4 service manual
As you remember to vrv3 and others it was possible to carry out test start having excluded check of amount of *****. Here too there is this function 2-88, it is initially active and it needs to be disconnected, (2-88 to put instead of 0 - 1) and then to refuel system with the help of software. Problem that the software meanwhile isn't available. And your second start the test of a mode showed an error of P2 - extraordinary low pressure in a gas station mode. Advise to open the gas valve)))
that it is advisable to disconnect check of amount of *****
Change of value of the control chosen in a mode 2:
- Execute transition to a mode 2 (for this purpose press the button
BS1 also hold it within not less than 5 seconds),
then choose the necessary control. It becomes
BS2 button pressing.
- Receiving access to value of the chosen control
it is carried out by single pressing of the BS3 button.
- Now the BS2 button serves for a choice demanded
values of the chosen control.
- Having chosen demanded value, set change
current value single pressing of the BS3 button.
- That the system started working in compliance
with the chosen value, press the BS3 button once again.
p.s. I mixed a little, 2-86 control of system on leaks. As I understood periodically supervises ***** volume in system.
Re: New Daikin VRV 4 service manual
Yes, everything is correct. Just in case steps which are passed in a test mode.
Stages of automatic procedure of trial start:
- "t01": control before start (alignment
pressure)
- "t02": control at cooling start
- "t03": stable condition of cooling
- "t04": connection test
- "t05": check of locking valves
- "t06": check of length of pipes
- "t07": check of quantity of a coolant
- "t08": if [2-88]=0, collecting detailed information
about a coolant
- "t09": coolant pumping
- "t10": block stop
Re: New Daikin VRV 4 service manual
Excuse dude but I have no service manual. Cheker connected to system? Tried to start without a test mode? What did it show on loading of 1 inverter and current?
INV1 -A1P (X20A, X28A, X40A)
Check here these connections, check wires.
Re: New Daikin VRV 4 service manual
Such long test of system because of function of detection of leaks? If it to leave included?

Re: New Daikin VRV 4 service manual
Hi Bratosin
You'll need at least 1.53A software and even better with 1.53C
To have a short TEST you will read above that Rusbuka helped me by changing the setting 88 in mode 2.
My opinion is you can start with the short test and after you have to launch the long test (be careful i don't speak about auto-charge!!!).
But if you do that you have to calculate the amount of refrigerant depending on the lengh, size, and combination of indoor, and then charge by the service port (the same as for auto-charge) using the setting 20 in mode 2.

Re: New Daikin VRV 4 service manual
Actually never used autocharge function as conditions for this opertion practically weren't. Main thing pumping and filling of evaporators, and working parameters. Only through a cheсker)
p.s. WOW sow interesting logs, many thx )))
Re: New Daikin VRV 4 service manual
Hi everyone,
I am on the processes of buying a VRV unit for my house. There are daikin VRV-III available in the market where I live and VRV 4 will be available in 4-6 weeks. I will use the unit only for cooling purpose for 3 months a year since I have a seperate heating system already installed. Do you think that it will be worth for me to wait for the model? Please note that worth means I need to bear hot weather till mid August. I will appreciate your input.

I'm surprised that you need a VRV 4 system for your house, unless you are very rich and have multiple rooms.
Wouldn't a simple 'split' or 'multi split' system suffice?
Re: New Daikin VRV 4 service manual
And if you are very rich, best choice is MHI, Samsung S or ME
