solar powered refrigeration R&D

I work for a military R&D group. We are looking at solar powered refrigeration for trailer mounted reefers as well as small mobile systems used as water heaters. The process is to find research groups that work on that area and fund their research with our requirements in mind. If there are any groups (refrigeration companies, academic research, environmental groups) that do such research/design please reply. You must be based in the U.S. or have an affiliated group that operates here.
