  • ? about hydrocarbon gas

i am thinking about starting to learning a bit about hydrocarbon gases to save money. can any one tell me what the difference between r290a and lpg is . can any one tell me why u cant just use pure lpg in a fridge all u would need is a pt chart for it. does lpg have more moister in it
because from what i can work out it seems to work fine we tried it in a domestic fridge and ran fine for 4 years

      R290 is a CLEAN refrigerant

lpg ect is dirty, moisture and non condensables and foreign bodies

also regrigerant grade hydrocarbons are stenchless/no smell

as the stenching agent is absorbed by drier cores

would say you got lucky with your domestic

    Re: Condenser fan.

It might be the temperature issue. You should consult with the Air condition contractor. Look reviews on yelp or bbb.org before contacting them

    Re: Carrier XTC Alarm AL28

Was it charged in liquid? The pressure you have is too high chemically cleaning may be needed on the condenser coil I would think at 80f 300 psi should

Yes its charged with 404a. Ambient is about 80 F. First unti starts with low RPM, then since set point set to 0 deg it increase RPM and run at high speed.

Re: Fans shutdown sequence in evaporative condensers

From the top it looks like air condenser. From the side it looks like evaporative condenser. I'm not familiar with these condensers.
