      R290 is a CLEAN refrigerant

lpg ect is dirty, moisture and non condensables and foreign bodies

also regrigerant grade hydrocarbons are stenchless/no smell

as the stenching agent is absorbed by drier cores

would say you got lucky with your domestic

Re: Time to call it a day after 50 years

Some of the silver engineers I have been involved with, when approaching their later years, tend to shy away from the heavy lifting installs (makes sense)

Re: compact screw oil carry over

Can you advise on oil temperature & set point.
Usually 10 to 15 deg C above saturated condensing pressure.

    Re: SAB89 Service manual

I agree with AKI, JCI has an information embargo on all the information here in Europe unless you are a member of their tribal team.

If you want to help, that’s great.
I just get frustrated that people only post something when they want something.
