New to RE

Hi Guys, im new here, 28 years in the business & still learning!!! Mainly deal with industrial Refrige but recently been installing splits. Went to a site yesterday & couldnt start work until nearly mid day due to the paperwork :mad: do you guys have the same problem? All the best.

Its happening more and more. One site i worked on recently insisted that we wore safety harneses on a tower scaffold:confused: amongst other things. We didn't have to clip them to anything, just wear them, after we got a letter from the hire company stating that aluminum scaffolding would colapse if we fell off with a harness attached as its not designed for the shock loading of a fall:rolleyes: This cost another 350 pounds in hire costs!!!
The next job we quoted for them we knew what we were in for and allowed for it in the price, guess what, we were too expensive:p I guess someone else lost money on that one lol

i think yeah its OTT in someplaces but its there for our saftey so we can only addear to it
