Hi vac-man.
Welcome
I am new to the forum as well and have been trapped in its web of knowledge.
So many people "Fix" the apparent fault with out determining the basic cause. Here we can all share our experiences to the benefit of all.
Its great to have something where you can get the benefit of world wide expert advice and information on the general subject of refrigeration engineering.

Welcome John to RE
Glad that you find us a useful and informative resource

Are you from North or South Island?

Hi Abe.
North Island, Auckland. Auckland can have four seasons in a day and can be very humid , so the requirements for A/C and general refrigeration can be much and varied. I consentrate mainly in the industrial field on NH3 and R22 , but alas here as elsewhere in the world we have restrictions on its future use.
Any way all the best to you.
