Can anyone tell me how to select the size of refrigerant liquid receiver for close control air conditioning 40 kw?

Hi there,

There is no formula to calculate the receiver volume.
In theory, the receiver volume + condenser volume must be enough to hold the entire charge of the system when it is pumped-down.

Bitzer has a chart which shows the receiver volume according to the system capacity. BUT, I have never used it because it gives a huge volume for the receiver.

In my opinion volume of about 20- 30 lit is OK for your system.
